Undefeated Reds power past Padres

The Cincinnati Reds equaled the best start in club historyWednesday night, improving to 8-0 as Mariano Duncan, Paul O'Neill andChris Sabo homered in an 11-7 victory over the visiting San DiegoPadres.

Duncan's two-run homer tied the game 5-5 in the third inning andO'Neill put the Reds ahead to stay with a three-run homer in thefourth. O'Neill, who entered the game as a pinch hitter in the thirdinning, had four of the Reds' 14 hits.
